Jack Johnson五歲那年開始學習衝浪，到了十七歲已是衝浪界的奇才

但一場意外結束了他短暫的衝浪生涯，在那次意外中，Jack Johnson的手腕關節骨折、門牙斷裂，並在前額和嘴部區域縫了超過150針。

那次意外後，Jack Johnson利用在病床上休養的所有時間來撰寫歌曲和演奏吉他

不知不覺，他成為一位歌手！
